ACM members illuminated young minds at our 'Hour of Code' event, bringing the magic of AI to an orphanage. The event started at 1 pm, featuring student project displays across various fields. Mr. Ravindra Yadav from Atal Incubation Centre and Dr. Shilpa Joshi served as evaluators. The exhibition included 9 teams—4 from outhouse and 5 from inhouse. Projects ranged from drones to voice-controlled vehicles using Arduinos, and Autonomous UAVs designed for defense and disaster management, showcasing a diverse array of innovative endeavors.

Record-breaking attendance comprised seasoned data scientists and enthusiastic newcomers, engaging in a dynamic exchange of ideas and problem-solving. This saw 933 participants all across India via Unstop and offline, it also had a record over 3.3lac impressions.

An engaging event where teams of 2-3 participants work with provided breadboards, sensors, and components, simulating a relay race format. Each team member collaboratively builds upon the existing circuit before passing it on to the next person.

Nextrack

The main competition was split into 3 rounds. Participants needed to place their robots on the starting line on the track and complete the given path in the shortest amount of time. Penalties were imposed if the robot went off track. All teams were given 3 chances at the track and the best time was recorded which ultimately decided the winners of the competition.

The event involved teams constructing obstacle avoidance robot cars using kits provided to them. The participating teams were required to assemble the robot and program it to navigate through the maze track, while going through different checkpoints and ensuring that the bot does not hit the surrounding walls.
